Delegate Guidelines
Dear Delegate,
  
Greetings from Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Government of Rajasthan and Confederation of Indian Industry. We thank you for your participation at Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2012, scheduled to be held at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur during 7 – 9 January.

Given below is an information sheet for your convenience and reference.
  1. Please note that bags, briefcases, handbags, attachés, weapon, camera, umbrella or any other objectionable items of any kind will not be permitted inside Conference area, for security reasons during Inaugural session. Hence, delegate kits will be handed over to the delegates only after the Inaugural Session.

  2. You are requested not to carry any such items / delegate kit at the Valedictory Session also. However, delegates can make use of the Registration Counter /Cloak Room to deposit their bags before the Valedictory Session and collect the same against a coupon provided in the doc pack.

  3. Kindly note that for entry to all venues –Conference area, lunch area and  Cultural Evenings, security cleared Photo badges are mandatory. No separate Invitation cards are issued. The Cultural Evenings and Dinners of 7th, 8th & 9th January would be held at different venues. Details are given below for reference –

    Shuttle service would be available for delegates from the Birla Auditorium after the conference.

    3.1 Your Badge is not transferable
    3.2 Please bring the Badge with you at all the functions

  5. Keeping in line with the Security Guidelines received from Jaipur Police, you will be required to carry your Passport / any other photo identity for identification, especially for the Inaugural Session with the Prime Minister and Valedictory Session with the President of India.

  6. Keeping in view the tight schedule, time management is very important. We would start the Sessions on time. Please do adhere to the timings and take your seat at least 1 hour before the Inaugural session.

  7. Please do visit the Exposition that has been set up for you in the lawns and Museum building of Birla Auditorium.

  8. Please note children below 18 years will not be allowed in any Sessions and Cultural Events.

  9. The Golfing facilities at the Rambagh Golf Course in Jaipur have been arranged for the delegates between 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on 6 January and 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. on 7 January. Further details are available at PBD website.

  10. All badges are with photograph. Please send your passport size photograph (in soft format) if not sent yet.
